Matthew is "Feedback," the winner of the first season of Who Wants To Be a Superhero? As Feedback, Matthew uses his "powers" for good and raises money for Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. In 1997 Matthew was chosen to be an official Marvel Spider Man. Matthew is a software engineer in real life and a "confirmed geek" in his own words.

Firefly is an American science fiction television series that premiered in the United States and Canada on September 20, 2002. Its naturalistic future setting, modeled after traditional Western movie motifs, presents an atypical science fiction backdrop for the narrative. It was conceived by writer and director Joss Whedon, creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, under his production tag, Mutant Enemy. Whedon served as executive producer, along with Tim Minear.
The series is set in the year 2517, after humans have arrived at a new star system, and follows the adventures of the renegade crew of Serenity, a Firefly-class spaceship. The ensemble cast portrays the nine characters who live on Serenity. Whedon pitched the show as "nine people looking into the blackness of space and seeing nine different things". The show explores the vicissitudes of people who fought on the losing side of a civil war, as well as the pioneer culture that exists on the fringes of their star system. In addition, it is a future where the only two surviving superpowers, the United States and China, fused to form the central federal government, called the Alliance, resulting in a fusion of the two cultures, as well. According to Whedon, nothing has changed in the future: there are more people with more advanced technology, but they still have the same problems politically, morally and ethically.

Of course we won't have the FCC looking over our shoulder, so we can do it in a more realistic fashion.

What is Conflation?

Conflation is a Relax-A-Con for those 21 and older.
It is a great chance to get away from the kids, let your hair down and not have to worry about what you say being overheard.

Or as defined in Wiktionary

conflation (countable and uncountable; plural conflations)
- (countable) A blowing or fusing together, as of many instruments in a concert, or of many fires in a foundry.
- (countable) A blend or fusion, esp. a composite reading or text formed by combining the material of two or more texts into a single text.
- (uncountable) Confusion or mixing up.
- Each year a few hundred or so science fiction and fantasy fans, whom are over 20 years old, get together to become the "Party Carnivores from the Depths" at the Conflation Relax-A-Con.
